The 22nd National Level Japanese Speech contest was held in Kuala Lumpur at the Japan Club KLÂ on the 3rd of September 2006. Amidst a strong field, representatives from the Penang region clinched the 1st and 3rd placing. Congratulations to Ms Ch’ng Ching Aun and Ms Lau Hui Chin!

The 27th Annual Penang Japanese Speech Contest Results
The 27th Annual Penang Japanese Speech Contest was held yesterday at the Caring Society Complex. Representatives from our Society swept 3 out of the top 5 placings.
- Ms. Ch’ng Ching Aun (1st Place) – 世界ãŒå¹³å’Œã«ãªã‚‹æ¡ä»¶
- Ms. Koay Hooi Hoon (3rd Place) – ç†æƒ³ã¨ç¾å®Ÿ
- Ms. Koay Tze Siew (4th Place) -　生ãã‚‹

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners from this speech contest will represent the Penang region in the National Finals which will be held on 3rd September 2006. We wish them all the best!
