Important Information Regarding JLPT 2025 A

Please be informed that this year’s Japanese Language Proficiency Test 2025 A (July paper) will be held on the 6th of July, 2025.

Please take note that in Malaysia, N1 and N2 test sessions will be held in the morning, while N3, N4, and N5 will be held in the afternoon, in alignment with the test times in Japan.

Registration will commence online at 12pm on the 17th of March 2025 and end on the 31st of March 2025, 2pm. Please visit https://www.jlsm.org/jlpt.html to register once registration is open.

For candidates wishing to take the test in Penang, please note that the designated test site for Penang is SENTRAL College.

Due to space limitations at the Penang test site, there will be a quota set for the number of candidates allowed to take the test in Penang:

N1 – 50 candidates

N2 – 70 candidates

N3 – 80 candidates

N4 – 90 candidates

N5 – 110 candidates

Once seat quotas are filled, additional applications will not be accepted for the Penang test site.

The online Test Results Announcement for the JLPT 2024 (DECEMBER) is available for viewing from 10:00 am on January 31 (Fri.), 2025, to 5:00 pm on March 31 (Mon.) (Japan Time), 2025
on the designated website:

Candidates the passcode they set when they registered for the test to view the result.

JLPT 2024 December Paper Registration

Registration Period: 19 August 2024 – 2 September 2024

Get ready for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) this December! Registration will officially open from 19 August 2024 at 12:00 noon until 2 September 2024 at 2:00 pm.

Test date: 1st December 2024 (Sunday)

Test Venues:
– Kuala Lumpur
– Penang
– Ipoh
– Kota Kinabalu
– Johor Bahru

Test fees are:

  • RM 180 for N1, N2 and N3 levels.
  • RM 140 for N4 and N5 levels.

The test sessions are:

  • Morning – For N2 and N5 levels.
  • Afternoon – For N1, N3 and N4 levels.

New Class Commencement: 2nd May 2024 – Intermediate 2

A new Intermediate 2 class will commence on Thursday, 2nd May 2024. Lessons are twice a week, on Tuesdays (7.30 pm – 9.30 pm) and Thursdays (7.30 pm – 9.30 pm). To ensure you have a seat, please visit our Society’s office during our opening hours (7.00 pm – 9.30 pm on weekdays) to register and pay the fees in full. New Class Online Commencement: 4th July 2023 – Higher Level (N3)

A new Higher Level (N3) class will commence on Tuesday, 4th July 2023. Lessons are twice a week, on Tuesdays (7.30 pm – 9.30 pm) and Fridays (7.30 pm – 9.30 pm). To ensure you have a seat, please visit our Society’s office during our opening hours (7.00 pm – 9.30 pm on weekdays) to register and pay the fees in full. Class sizes are now limited to 17 persons on a first-come-first-serve basis in order to ensure adequate social distancing as mandated by current Government guidelines.
